Chicken & Beef Burgers

 INGREDIENTS:

 

1 package of no anti-biotics, no hormones, ground chicken
1 package of 100% grass fed beef
1 tbl Dijon mustard
1 tbl Coconut Aminos
1 tbl Tessemae's BBQ Sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt & pepper

1 Pasture Raised Organic egg

 

*Makes 8-10 Burgers. Make them all......leftovers = meal prep!

 

DIRECTIONS: 
 

Mix all of your ingredients into the bowl and incorporate with your hands. Get messy! It's fun :) Make into medium sized patties. Throw on the grill for about 3 min each side, flipping at least 2-3 times through until cooked. You don't want these super rare because of the chicken in there.

 

Alternates: 

 

If you don't have a BBQ or want to make inside, you can cook these in a pan or bake them in the oven. Stove top, heat your skillet and follow the same directions as the grill. Oven, heat to 375 and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the inside temperature is 160 degrees, lightly browned and cooked through.

 

You could also just use this recipe to make ground meat and chop up on the stove top in a pan, tacos!? 

 

How to Eat:

 

My favorite to have a burger is on a big salad with lots of toppings and sides. You can also use these patties to chop up and make into an egg scramble, as a lettuce wrap or even as a snack with some avocado!
